It’s important to note that wood naturally has a range of colour and grain patterns. No two pieces are identical!
As a general rule ash and white cedar will have more white, yellow and light brown hues. Cherry and red cedar will have red, pink and medium to dark brown tones. If you want a monotone look pair ash with white cedar or cherry with red cedar. For a more dynamic two tone look put ash with red cedar or cherry with white cedar.
